Content here is general information about public programs. It is not financial, legal, tax, or benefits advice for your individual situation, and using this site does not create an advisor relationship of any kind. EveryBenefit is independent and is not affiliated with the Government of Canada, Service Canada, or the Canada Revenue Agency.
Figures change
Benefit amounts, thresholds, and payment dates are set by government and change on their own schedules — some quarterly, most every January. We date and source every figure and update pages as new numbers are published, but we cannot guarantee that a figure has not changed between our check and your visit. Your My Service Canada Account and CRA My Account are always the final word on your amounts.
Calculators
Calculators on this site apply the published program formulas to the numbers you enter. They are estimates for education and planning. They do not account for every individual rule, and Service Canada’s or the CRA’s calculation of your actual entitlement governs.
Links and liability
We link to official sources and occasionally to other sites; we are not responsible for their content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EveryBenefit is provided “as is,” and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on its content.
